About a week ago I was in Louisiana at my friend Mike Barnett’s house. While sitting with him, in his little cabin on the water where the sun had just set over the lake. an angel flashed through the room like a bright light. I then saw him sitting on the couch. He wasn’t very tall, and he looked like an old man with a long beard and white gown. He reminded me of the image I saw in my youth of father time.
As I was watching him he stood up and ran faster than a young man. He went like light out through the window and onto the lake and then to the stars.
I said, “Holy Spirit what is his name?”
And I heard the Holy Spirit say, “Acceleration.” I know what acceleration means, but I thought I would look up the meaning online so that I can accurately depict what this angel came to declare.
‘Acceleration,’ according to dictionary.com, means the act of accelerating; increase of speed or velocity, or a change in velocity, or (as in Mechanics) the time rate of change of velocity with respect to magnitude or direction; the derivative of velocity with respect to time.
It is the last meaning that I find the most interesting. It relates acceleration to velocity and time. To me this is very prophetic in that God is saying that he is about to bring velocity to destiny and people are going to move quickly into the promises that he has made to them, or another way of saying it, get ready the things that you have been years waiting for are about to come to pass. You are about to ACCELERATE into destiny.
I was in California about five days ago. I was with my friend Gayle Arthur-Walti. The first morning I was there I had written on my Facebook page about the encounter with the angel I mentioned above. When I came out of my room at Gayle’s house she said to me, “I feel like something happened on November 1. She said, “I believe we have entered a season of acceleration. What do you think?” I was amazed and told her to go read my Facebook update.
I am not sure if you knew this about me or not, but I am also a prophetic artist. I love painting and have been doing so for about 15 years. In fact, I have painted close to 1200 paintings at this point. I have no idea where most of them are located. I have sold them all over the world. Like you I have promises attached to my life that God spoke many years ago. One such promise was related to my art.
I go to a little country church in Canada called the Oasis. It is located on a farm just outside of Ottawa in a little hamlet called Kinburn. Our church is the first church that was planted in Canada after Azuza street. We are now about 106 years old. I had the opportunity while in Los Angeles to go to Bonnie Brae House where the meetings started before they got to big that they had to moved to Azuza. It was a great honor to be there.
The man that started our church was named Robert E. McAlister. He was the first recorded person to have traveled to the Azuza Street Revival from Canada. The story goes that he left Canada by train around 1909 to go to LA. He traveled for four days across the continent. As soon as he got off the train he went to Azuza and got filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues. Without hesitation he got right back on the train (the same day) and came back to our valley where he went to his church in Cobden and immediately got kicked out. There were three ladies praying together in Kinburn. He went to them and they started a church. Revival meetings have been occurring there ever since for almost 100 years.
It was outside of this little church that a promise came from God to me. I was standing with a man who was coming to our church for a season. He loved art and was talking to me about my art. Apparently, there was an artist in the Ottawa Valley that he really liked that he mentioned to me. That is when the Holy Spirit spoke to me through this man. He was talking about another artist, but his words were also for me.
The man said, “There is an artist in the Ottawa Valley whose paintings sale for thousands of dollars.” As he was saying this from across the street and over the corn field it was as if a wind came carrying the voice of God and I heard, “THAT ARTIST IS YOU.” I was filled to overflowing on the spot. Up to that point the most I made on one of my paintings was a few hundred dollars. I believed this word and have been confessing it ever since.
Many times since then I have made good money on my art. There have been days that I have made thousands on my paintings but never for one painting. I would make thousands on 10 paintings. I am not complaining at all. It is an honor for me to be able to travel and paint and make money doing it. I feel very spoiled in life. This is the favor of God.
However after the ANGEL OF ACCELERATION appeared last week something shifted. I got home from my 10 days away in Louisiana and California and there was a message in my inbox on my Facebook ministry page. There was a woman from Melbourne who had connected to my ministry in July testifying to how she ahs been touched over and over by my daily prophetic words and how she really enjoys my art. She said I want to commission a piece of art from you for $2222.00 USD which in Canadian was $2700 or more importantly thousands of dollars. The word that I had heard 6 or 7 years ago was in acceleration and now had come to pass quickly after that angel appeared.
2222 is a very interesting number to me. When I see it, I think of Isaiah 22:22 which says, “I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.” I believe there is acceleration coming to open doors for you that have been shut for a long time. God is about to do it. The Holy Spirit is about to whisper your name into many ears and you are about to enter into the things that have been long promised.
The key to all of this is to listen and obey and to trust. We can’t please God without faith. Everything you and I will enter will be only by faith. There is no other key but faith that unlocks all other keys.
I declare faith over you today. I declare that you will be known for your great acts of boldness for Christ. He is the center of our faith and the only reason we exist. May all your ways please him and may his face always shine upon you.
Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. 2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.
I was thinking today how wonderful It is to here the voice of God. I was listening to a Ricky Skaggs song called “Reasons to hang on.” The female artist singing declares that we want to hear the voice of God because he will tell us to hang on. And that is the main thing that I love to hear God tell me. He always says, “you are going to be fine, just hold on, just believe, you can do it.”
Our God is the greatest cheer leader. He believes in you and he believes in his destiny for your life. We need to hear his voice because he will tell us all about ourselves. As a prophetic person in ministry I have people come to me all of the time asking me if I can pray for them. Essentially, they are wanting to hear God say that everything is going to be fine in their lives, with their jobs, health, finances and that their family is going to enter into Christ and his blessings. They want to hear that in Christ their lives are going to be fine.
The essence of Christianity is that God is going to give his peace to us through the work of Jesus Christ. His abiding peace is the desire of all our lives. Whether we realise it or not the gospel of peace is what all of us (the great and the small, the rich and the poor) are searching for. The peace that we want in the earth is the peace that we want in our heart, but do not have. In Christ he has made a way for all of us to enter rest. It is by faith in God and in Jesus Christ.
I have learned to activate the rest of God in the moments of my greatest trials. When fear comes upon us and it most certainly will we have a choice to make. Will we trust God during the trial and connect to his rest or will we let the waves of hopelessness and despair overwhelm us and wash us into negativity.
We really do have a choice. We can connect to thoughts of God or to the thoughts of fear. I often find myself amid a trial seeking God’s presence. I will say something like “God where are you right now?” I will then pause and wait upon him. Inevitably he comes like a wave of peace into my heart and I know this means I will be fine, or that this trial will come to an end.
It doesn’t matter how great the storm seems to be it really isn’t anything for our God. I have met people who should have spent their lives in prison because of the things that they did when they were young. And yet, God kept them out and they went on to live very fruitful lives, many of them becoming ministers of the Gospel leading others into the wells of God’s abiding rest.
He has a plan for your life. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Our job is to believe this. And when the trials come to continue to believe.
We have to live thankful in all things. When bad things come we must thank God. When my body is not feeling well I thank God that at least I am alive. I am thankful for the breath that I breath. I am not saying that I don’t wish to be healed or to be healthier but at least my God is with me even in my poor condition.
My mother told me a great story today. She talked about a woman that she works with who is dying in her group home. My mother has worked for almost thirty years with person that are disabled – autistic, brain damage or down syndrome. She has great compassion for them and has lead many of them to Jesus and their families.
My mother asked this dying lady if she had Jesus in her heart. The little woman said yes, and that she was at peace. The lady really encouraged my mother and said that she had the rest of God in her heart. This ladies family are professing agnostics and atheist. My mother went to them and told them of the conversation that she had with their dying sister.
The agnostics began to cry and took great solace and comfort in the words of my mother. The very next day one of the ladies brought my mother their mom’s bible for my mom to read to this lady upon her bed.
Our God is the God of all comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 says, “ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
Just rest in God today. I pray for you and ask the Lord to help you to enter into his peace. His peace comes supernaturally just like any miracle that he sends our way. I declare that you shall have that peace and that you shall become a man or woman of peace. Many will seek you out for the peace that is in you and you will minister that peace to them all.
Angel encounters come in many different ways and in order to understand these encounters we have to consider Hebrews 1:14 which states “Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?”
This morning I was sitting in my office in the cozy chair and nodded off to sleep for a few moments. When I did I heard an angel singing nearby. He started to sing very beautifully the old hymn “Great is thy Faithfulness.” Being raised in the church I was very familiar with this old song, but sometimes when God is highlighting it is as if you are hearing it for the first time.
The words to this tune are beautifully written.
Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!”
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided--
“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!
There is such comfort in these words. I don’t know about you but comfort from God is invaluable. There is nothing like hearing from heaven that my situation and my life is known by God and that things are going to be fine. This is the benefit of the Christian life. We have a God who sees us, understands and speaks Comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.”
I remember one time I was eating breakfast at a restaurant in Ottawa. The behavior of the waitress was very distracting. She wasn’t working as good as she likely worked day after day. I heard the Lord say, “Tell her that I am the God of all Comfort.”
I did just that and to my great surprise she started crying in her hands. My mother was there with me and she hugged this dear lady. We found out that the word was so very timely because just the day before her grandfather had passed away. God knows us. He knows what we are going through and he wants us to feel his comfort and love even during the pain.
I don’t know what you are going through today, but I want you to know that God is with you and his plan for your life shall be fulfilled. He will not allow you to go without his abiding presence. Whatever storm you see on the horizon. Whatever storm that you may be in God is there. He will silence every enemy. He will block every arrow. He has you. He know you. He loves you.
I pray for you today. I ask the Lord to send his comfort even on the backs of angels’ wings. May you experience heaven today and may you know the voice of the one who comforts. Holy Spirit move in each life I pray.
Unto You I lift up my eyes,
O You who dwell in the heavens.
Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters,
As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress,
So our eyes look to the Lord our God,
Until He has mercy on us.
Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us!
For we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
Our soul is exceedingly filled
With the scorn of those who are at ease,
With the contempt of the proud.
It’s a 123 season. Many times, I have seen this number combination on a clock, billboard, or license plate. Every time I see it there is an excitement as if something fresh was about to begin. For me 123 is the essence of Get Ready, Get Set, and Go. This word from the Lord to me comes with an expectation that something new is about to begin - like a new door is going to open or a new feeling in my life is about to emerge. It is a springtime number or a new beginnings number.
Many of us have been prophesying for a long time that there is coming a revival to the nations that will be unprecedented. The Prophet Bob Jones died in the 1970’s and had an encounter with heaven before the Lord sent him back to his body. While he was in heaven, the Lord told him that He was sending Bob back to the earth so he could help prepare the generation that He would use to bring in the ONE BILLION SOUL HARVEST.
It seems that the Christian voice is the minority voice in North America, so to prophesy reformation and revival in the face of the Antichrist spirit of our time can be draining, (especially since many of us have been doing so for more than 20 years). There are times when I stand and a spirit of prophesy comes upon me and I begin to declare that REFORMATION IS COMING. If I am to be honest with you, (and I know no other way) sometimes I feel conflicted doing this. This prophecy, which I declare and form by faith, over the dry bones of modern man, doesn’t seem to be coming to pass. I feel like a motorcyclist who is using the kick start but it doesn’t seem to be working.
But God has convinced me that he is real. He has convinced me that he can do anything he says that he is going to do. When God speaks what he says will come to pass. Even though we may grow frustrated we just have to continue to wait upon the master’s hand.
Psalm 123 (written above) is very interesting to me. It seems to be about the merging of anticipation and waiting. The servant may have to wait a long time but the master is the master. The servant’s function is to serve. He/she has no choice but to wait. That is their job; and just because the servant is waiting, doesn’t mean the master will move any more quickly. The master moves when he wishes. We must be there when he wishes us to serve.
It is in the waiting, that we truly become servants. The servant must serve when the master is present and when he isn’t present. The promise is that because we are servants, we will always have something precious to do for the King. However, the servant that grows weary and leaves his/her post, isn’t a good servant, because sometimes service is more about waiting than anything else.
We are not the masters of our own fate or the captain of our own destinies. This function in our lives belongs to the King. He is gracious and loving, and brings us into fullness, but we must wait for our times and seasons.
The generation that we live in will not be passed by. Yet we, who are born to intercede and declare, must continue to do so until we see the harvest. I want to be found faithful like Anna, the prophetess.
“Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.”
Virgins were often married at about 15 or 16 years of age in Ancient Israel. Some say that they were betrothed (or promised in marriage) as early as 12 years of age, although they would wait longer to consummate the marriage.
If Anna was married at 16, she would have been a widow by 23. For over 60 years, she potentially fasted and prayed for the coming of the Messiah. The Lord impressed upon her that she would actually see his coming. She did not give up, although one wonders if she ever waivered in her longing.
The infant child in her arms was the consummation of Anna’s longing. She held him in her oldest years. She only held the promise. She most likely did not see him become a man. She did not likely see him on the cross or his resurrection. She beheld the promise and believed in heart.
There is something about the word of the Lord in our heart that keeps us from wavering in the waiting. When we have heard his voice, it convinces us of the truth of that which is spoken. And so, even while we wait for the consummation of the promise, we do so because he convinces us that what he said would happen.
When God speaks, what he says is done in his mind. God has all of time in his hands. There is no wrestling within the mind of God with what is in the beginning and what is in the end. When he says that it will come to pass, it is like he is saying “IT HAS COME TO PASS.” His gaze just stretches a little further along than our own.
Perhaps you have heard him speak a promise. Maybe you have even heard that revival is coming to the nations. I declare that in the waiting, you shall be refreshed. He will speak again. You will be found faithful in the temple when he appears. You are stronger than you think. Keep going, keep pursuing, keep the faith.
Acts 1:7-8 He replied, “It is not for you to know the times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Are you tired of hearing all the prophecies that say how the world is about to end? On September 23, 2017, according to David Meade, an asteroid named Nibiru was supposed to collide with Earth. I met a guy on one of my trips this past spring who was trying to get me ready for this date. He even added that NASA was hiding something that the world needed to hear about this asteroid.
You probably don’t remember the name Harold Camping, but many years ago he prophesied that the earth was supposed to end on May 21, 2011. When that day came and passed, he changed his mind and told the press that he got his math wrong; and that the date was actually October 21, 2011. If you are reading this you are aware that those days also came and went.
When people ask me what I think about the prediction of dates, I always tell them what the Bible says, “"But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father (Matthew 24:36).”
I don’t see the point in trying to predict what the scripture says that God will not reveal. However, others think very differently. Acts 1:7 says, “It is not for us to know the times or periods.” What does this mean? It means simply that! However, Matthew 24:7 says, “As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man…” As you know from that story, the flood took that generation completely unaware. There was only one family that was saved from that storm no matter how much creative license Hollywood likes to afford itself. Luke 17:7 says, “People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.”
If scripture teaches us anything, it is that we should live in a state of mind where Christ can return at any moment. To me, this is the essence of the story of the Five Wise Virgins (Matthew 25:1-13). They had their lamps trimmed and had plenty of oil as they waited for the bridegroom to come to them before the wedding banquet. The five unwise were not ready and had to go to get more oil, and when they returned, they missed the bridegroom’s arrival.
If it is not for us to know the days or times of his coming, then what should we focus on? We need to focus on exactly what Christ told us to focus on. We should preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. As we do this, we are preparing the way of the Lord. Mark 13:10 says, “ And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations.” The Lord told us there would be wars, earthquakes, famines and sorrows. He told us there would be persecutions as we witnessed, but the gospel had to be preached. As we focus on the good news of Christ, and preach him boldly everywhere, we go we are doing as Christ would have us do.
Stop worrying about extraneous things like dates and times. You will have your hour with the Lord. We will all appear before his judgement seat. I want to be judged for my fruitfulness, not for making things up and confusing the people. We can even make ourselves a mockery to the world by predicting things that don’t come to pass. Let’s focus on Christ, the author and the finisher of our faith.
The world will end. The Bible says it. But it won’t be when we are aware. It will come and we will be transformed. In the twinkling of an eye we will be changed. We will be with him as he is. What a promise that is! But until that day, keep shining for the world to see. Keep showing them what Christ does to a life that is changed by him.
I pray that you will be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. I pray that you will valiantly preach the gospel wherever you may be found. God be with you and make his face shine upon you.
When I began to see miracles, one of the things I really didn’t expect was the negative reaction from the church. I was very excited when miracles started to occur. I would see gemstones, feathers, gold, and oil appear in meetings and in my home. I remember when I started to show other people what God was doing, some of the reactions were frightening. People would literally manifest and get angry when they happened.
Psalm 68:13 says, “Though you have slept among the sheepfolds, yet shall you be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.” To me, this miracle hints at what is occurring when gold dust appears on people’s hands. I have seen this occur thousands of times. The scripture itself is an allegory pointing to the miracle of the transformed life. It could mean many things. It could speak of the refinement of the human character washed in the blood of the lamb. To me this is sensible. All God’s miracles point to something greater than the miracle itself. The miracle is just a reflection of the divine.
Jesus’ first miracle (described in John 2:1-11) is an incredible story that fascinates the Christian mind. Why would Jesus perform such a wonder for his first miracle? At first glance, it seems almost reckless for the God man to transform water (which the earth has in abundance) into an intoxicating substance that could harm those who drink it in excess. Isn’t this what this miracle is about? I don’t think so. For me there is a deeper meaning.
I believe the water into wine miracle is an allegory of what Christ came to do in the earth. One must consider the different components of the miracle for moment. Why is this Jesus’ first miracle? Why did he use the ceremonial cleansing pots? Why they emphasize on it being the best wine for last?
As I began to think about the symbols surrounding the miracle, a deeper revelation began to unfold to me. I began to see something about the mission of Christ in the earth. He came into the earth to transform the lowly nature of man into his higher nature. He came to give us heaven’s character, to change us from the sinner into saint. There is nothing that a man can do to escape sin in his own strength. He needs something outside of himself to come and reprogram him. This is what Christ did on the cross.
The jar that Christ used for the miracle was a ceremonial cleansing pot. It could hold up to 400 to 550 bottles of our modern wine. Now multiply that by six and you have potentially enough wine for thousands of people. This was a crazy miracle. F. F. Bruce said, “Christ (is) changing the water of Jewish purification into the wine of the new age.”
The cleansing pots were used by the Jews to ceremonially cleanse themselves before a feast. The pots represent humanity in its broken state. The water inside represents the fallen nature of man. When Christ transforms the water into the best wine, a divine transformation is taking place. The fallen earth man is now going to be filled with the love, joy and peace of heaven. Old things are passing away and all things are becoming new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
For me, that is what I love about miracles. They always speak about something greater than what is happening, than the miracle itself. They are a testimony of the life of Christ in the earth. They are speaking about his nature, and his power to transform. They testify of his glory and his majesty. They speak about his power above the laws of the earth. He has come to make all things new. He has come to transform and empower. Just like him we also will be (Romans 6:4).
Gold dust appearing is a sign. Though we lay down in the sheep pen (which was considered a lowly estate) we shall be covered in silver and gold. Though we were of this world in its fallen humanity (where we see humans destroying other humans out of hate, lust and anger); we shall be like him and love like he loves. We shall be empowered by heaven to safe life and to give life. We shall be filled with the joy of heaven. We shall be covered with the riches that come from above and not below. We will have a new nature refined like silver and gold.
You may not understand the miracles of God, but they are his gifts to the world; so before you dismiss them, ask him what he might be saying through them. I have had a lot of people tell me that the miracles I see are of the devil, even when I preach the gospel of Jesus Christ with all my passion and heart. This isn’t the doctrine of demons. Demons don’t point to Jesus and the cross.
I pray for you today. May you have child-likeness to receive like a child, but may you have wisdom and discernment to understand what is from above. I pray that you will walk in miracles, and that you will become a worker of miracles. May people be transformed by the power of Christ working through you.
There was this one time that I was at a French bakery in downtown Ottawa enjoying a cup of coffee, and a chocolate almond croissant, when I heard God say pull your Bible out to read it. I don’t generally like to read my bible in public, but the Lord prompted me to do so. I couldn’t shake the thought, so I obeyed and did as he was nudging me to do.
After five minutes a dear woman walked up to me as I was reading and asked me if I was a “Brother.” I had no idea what she meant by this statement. My mind wandered to what the term might mean. I thought that perhaps she was asking me if I was a monk, but no, apparently she thought that because I was reading a bible that I must be an elder in the Jehovah’s Witness church. “No,” I said, “I am not a brother, but I am an Evangelical Minister.” It sounded so brass coming out of my mouth. I cringed and she jumped back.
I looked at her for a moment and realised that God wanted me to speak to her, and so I let my defences come down and asked her if she would like to sit. She said that she would like to but only had about five minutes. I said, “It is amazing what God can do in five minutes.” I started by saying that I believed she was a good person and that God loved her very much. This opened a safe door for her to speak with me. She began to tell me that she had been in the Jehovah’s Witness church for about fifteen years and that before this she had been a member of a number of mainline denominational churches, but that she had grown up particularly in the Anglican Church. After a few moments of conversation, I felt prompted to prophesy. I said to her, “I believe that you have been struggling with depression and anxiety.” She was very surprised and said that just the day before she had been diagnosed with an Anxiety Disorder. I told her that I believed that God wanted her to know that he was going to bring healing to her spirit. Such peace moved into her spirit after hearing this that her face began to glow with the Holy Spirit.
She looked at me in wonder and I could feel the Spirit so strongly. We talked for a number of more minutes and I prophesied some other things over her life. I told her that I believed that she knew the Lord and that she was safe in his hands. I said that I felt that God had gifted her with a spirit of helps. She wasn’t so impressed with this statement because in our conversation she had mentioned that she had a sick friend that she was about to cook soup for. She felt that I had said this because of that. And there is something to be learned by this reaction of hers. As I prophesized over her the words about depression, anxiety and being set free by God astounded her and so likely they came from God, but when I started on the other stuff it might have come from my own spirit. She recognized this and so received what was from the Lord and the stuff that was from me she rejected.
I don’t remember if I prayed with this woman or not. I do remember leaving a woman who looked much different than when I first encountered her. Her disposition had changed. She was touched by God. My spirit was uplifted and I rejoiced in knowing that my obedience resulted in a woman being touched by the Lord.

But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD,
I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
I have gone through seasons in my life when it seems like the promotion will never come. I have gone through times when it seems like I have cried out to God and he has not heard my cry. There are times when the desert seems too hot and there is no oasis in sight. There are times when the thing that I hope for seems as distant as the sun, moon and stars. There are times that I have felt I was going to step forward and I actually stepped backward. These times are like misery to my soul.
And yet, my hope is in the Lord alone. His word over my life is faithful and true. He does not disappoint, but refreshes me like he promised. Even today I found myself crying out to God asking him when a promise that he made to me would come to pass. I found myself disillusioned by everything in my path. I didn’t want to talk to anyone in case the heaviness that was on my heart would become the heaviness of their hearts.
I just wanted to hide and wait for a new day to come. But my hope is in the Lord alone. I can feel his mighty presence and his embrace. He is my mighty tower and refuge. I will wait for God to honor his word in my life. I will wait until the gate to the Promised Land is opened. There is nothing we can do to hurry God’s plan for our lives or to pressure him to move more quickly. As the time passes between when a promise is spoken, and when it is fulfilled, there are valleys so quiet they can seem haunting to the soul. But we
must walk through those valleys still. When the fire seems to be consuming us and when we find ourselves crying out to the Lord, just remember his promise for our lives will be fulfilled and the rains will yet fall.
It is good to remember the dryness of the desert. It is good to allow the desert to purge us of all that it was meant to purge. We must die to our own way and let God birth his plan in the way he has determined. I have had many words come to pass, but very few were like I imagined. Very few were with the people that I thought I would be with. You see for some things to come to pass you must wait for the circumstances to arise for the destiny to be unleashed. You will cross the Jordan but the Jordan may still be a distance away.
Don’t grow impatient with God in the waiting, but learn to wait patiently. Continue to pursue God with abandon. Continue to allow him to heal your brokenness. Call out to him to be used by him. Ask him to fulfill your dreams. Ask him to align you to the people that will help fulfil your destiny. But most of all just call out to him and ask him to show you how real he is.

While 2017 may be a season of increase and blessing, there are still those who are going through a desert season personally. Don’t worry – God is still with you in the waiting. He has you and has not forgotten you. This is a time to lean on him as he teaches you trust. To read your own e-copy, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. When the Lord speaks, sometimes it can be very strange to hear. He will often speak to you through things you know and understand, but when you tell others about it, they might think it very strange. For instance, last night the Lord appeared to me in a dream as Captain Kirk from the Star Trek series from years ago. It was just like I was in the room with him.
Kirk in the dream was more than a captain. He was a captain of captains. I came to understand that he represented the captain of the Lord’s army that appeared to Joshua in Joshua 5:13. He came to Joshua to instruct him with the strategy of marching around Jericho seven times in order to destroy the city. The Captain of the Lord’s army came to me with a gift. It was a small box like a jewelry box. Inside of it was another stripe for my military uniform. Apparently, I was being promoted from Commander to a Captain of a ship.
There was another man there who was also was receiving a promotion. He was being promoted from Lieutenant to Commander. When he was putting the stripe on his lapel one of his other stripes was lost. He asked what the price would be so he could replace it. We found out that the Captain had paid an extremely large price for the pin. He the dream I heard that he had paid 7,000.00 talons for it.
We knew that this was a lot of money in the dream and we knew that the Captain sacrificed to pay it, but he was filled with so much joy at giving it to us. It didn’t seem to bother him that he had to pay so much for our promotions.
When I woke up from the dream, I was curious to know if talon was a currency that was featured in the Star Trek world, and sure enough it was. Apparently, it was one of the currencies of the Klingon Empire. For those not familiar with this, I am sorry. In the Star Trek world, the Earth is part of the Federation of Planets. In the 23rd century, one of the arch enemies of the Federation is the Klingons. To me, this is very interesting, given that the Captain chose to pay for our promotion with the currency of the enemy. He took what was of the enemy and gave it to us.
The fact that he paid $7,000 is also very interesting. 7 x 1000 = 7000. The number 7 is linked to divine completion or rest, as in on the 7th day the Lord rested from his labours after he created the heavens and the earth. And the number 1,000 is about the ultimate glory of God being realised in the earth. Jesus shall return and reign for 1,000 years. So when I see these two numbers together I get a sense that God is about to do something significant in the earth.
We can rest in the assurance that he has paid the cost and his plan is unfolding in the manner that he has ordained. Nothing will separate us from the love of Jesus. He is has made a way for us to succeed. By the shed blood of Jesus, we rule and reign in the earth with him (2 Timothy 2:12). We have authority because he has given us authority to trample on the heads of snakes and scorpions (Luke 10:19). He has given us power of darkness. We can heal the sick and cast out demons. We can raise the dead (Matthew 10:8).
I declare that you shall walk in this authority in your life; this is a new season – you will walk in a way you have never done before. I get a sense that God is about to touch people’s lives who have been living a religious lifestyle, but have not yet walked in their authority and power.
In the 1960’s and 1970’s, there was the Charismatic Renewal that took place in traditional churches (Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran etc.). The gifts of the Holy Spirit began to operate there in much the same way they had been operating in Pentecostal Churches from the turn of the twentieth century: when the fire came down at Azusa Street under William Seymour.
I declare that we are going to see this again. Many tribes, tongues and nations shall be touched by the power of God. His spirit is going to move across the earth. Let’s pray for renewal. Let’s pray for new unity and fire to fall on the church. Let’s pray that many prodigals will turn to him and learn to walk in their God given authority in Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit was poured out on the day of Pentecost, and he still continues to touch people’s lives 2000 years later. He still finds willing vessels that receive the glory of God and then walk in it. I declare that you and your families will be touched in the same way. You will have sons and daughters like Peter and Paul rise up out of your own houses and they will bring in a harvest of souls worldwide.
Father we ask you to make it so.
About nine months ago, the Lord said to me that 2017 would be a year of increase and advance. He told me that this was a season when His dreams for us would come to pass. Even though you may not know where all your provision is coming from, you need to understand that he always provides for his dreams in our lives. Just start to walk toward the dream he has given you, and then watch the provision come to help fulfill it.
Many of you have been hearing from the Lord. He has been speaking to you about a new day and a new time. He has told you that he has new things in store for your life. Some of you are believing for new houses, or new vehicles, and new jobs. Others are believing for a Godly spouse and children. God is the one who blesses us with these things in our lives. He has a ministry for you. He has a business for you. He has possessions for you.
I will probably have people angry with me now: because I have mentioned all these things; and it might sound a little too much like prosperity teaching. Some may unfollow my ministry, because I dared to say God has great things in store. A poverty mindset cannot see the blessings of God. It only sees what it lacks. Lack is not from God. Want is not from God. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.” If you are living in want you are not in God. Psalm 34:10 says, “The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.” When we are in Christ we will not lack.
When we live in the shelter of God’s presence, his blessing comes upon our lives. Blessing includes everything that you need to live a good life. It isn’t the blessing to live in sickness, poverty or without hope. God wants to inspire you. He wants to give you a vision, so that you will live an abundant life.
So many of you have dreams in your heart. Many of those dreams come from God. However, you may not know how to get from A to B. You don’t know how to move from the idea that was planted in you to the actual fulfilment of the dream. God knows how to do it. You can seek him for the answer. God wants to prosper you from the work of your hands. He doesn’t want you to live in poverty. He wants you to live in the fulfillment of your dreams.
Another problem that many face is their ungodly beliefs and confessions. I met a man yesterday who told me that he could never afford to travel internationally with his wife on a ministry trip. They have been together for 25 years, and this belief has stopped them from doing what might have been something very special in their lives. When you live believing that you can’t, then don’t be surprised when you don’t. This man was a minister and said that this meant that he was to be poor. I am also a minister, but I refuse to be poor. Poverty is a spirit that I will not come into agreement with. Poverty is the limitation of man. Prosperity is the atmosphere of heaven.
We must have our thoughts renewed. We can’t allow the way our old nature thinks to influence the blessings that God wants to give to us. The Israelites were told by God (when they entered the Promised Land), that they would live in cities and houses they did not build, and that they would have a rich stock of goods that they did not earn. God was going to give it to them (Deuteronomy 6:11).
This is the thought that you must get into your mind. The poverty mindset that has limited you receiving what God has for you must end. Your God can make all grace abound in your life. He can prosper you and give you a bright future. He can give you houses and stock them with the finest goods. If you say this doesn’t really matter well I would think that 99% of the world disagrees with you.
I met an angel in England last February. I asked him his name. He said, “Edified to do anything!” This was not just a name but an impartation. He was telling me that the dreams that God has for me were possible, because nothing was impossible with God. He was telling me that God was empowering me to enter the greatest dreams that He has for my life. It strengthened me to hear heaven speak.
God wants to give you a bright future too. He doesn’t want you to toil under the curse of this life. You are a son or a daughter of the Most High God. He wants to bless you with every blessing that comes in Christ Jesus. These are spiritual blessings and there are natural blessings. When your heart is renewed in Christ and your thoughts are transformed God positions you to receive more than you ever did before.
My deepest prayer for you today is that you will prosper in every way that God wants you to prosper. I pray for all mindsets that are not from God to fall from your life. I pray that you will learn to receive what God has in store for you. I declare the blessing of the Lord will make you rich and add no sorrow to it.
